In an interview conducted just before his death and published more than a month after, Anthony Bourdain called former President Bill Clinton a “gropey, grabby disgusting” person and slammed the Clintons for how they handled the Monica Lewinsky scandal. “Bill Clinton, look, the bimbo eruptions—it was f---ing monstrous. That would not have flown today,” Bourdain said about the scandal. “[Bill Clinton is] a piece of s---. Entitled, rapey, gropey, grabby, disgusting, and the way that he — and she [Hillary] — destroyed these women and the way that everyone went along, and, and are blind to this!” @foxnews#anthonybourdain#clinton#billclinton#hillary
A Month’s Mind...
In our minds we know you’re in a better place, where there is no pain. You are at peace. We all can understand that.
We’re just having a tough time explaining that to our hearts.

Bourdain also pointed to Bill, calling him a “piece of s***, entitled, rapey, groped, grabby,” and “disgusting” when the topic of the Monica Lewinsky scandal arose. Link in bio 🔥 📸: Getty Images

We made this yesterday for one our customers. I love Anthony Bourdain. Believe it or not Bramble does not travel much - locked down with kids and bills. We have a lovely life but unfortunately not an international one.
However, we traveled with Mr Bourdain ( virtually on my couch). I have seen almost every episode of Parts Unknown and looked forward to my nightly adventure. I’m going to miss seeing the world through his eyes.
This is not something we are going to list. I just made it once however, I know how this customer feels. It is like you lost a friend. As I write the words, it might come across as a bit silly but I truly feel a sense of loss.
“If you’re twenty-two, physically fit, hungry to learn and be better, I urge you to travel - as far and as widely as possible. Sleep on floors if you have to. Find out how other people live and eat and cook. Learn from them - wherever you go.” Anthony Bourdain #wednesdaywisdom

Food is medicine. We break bread with family and friends because it heals our feelings of loneliness and disconnection. Eating with others can be a healthy challenge, especially in early recovery from an eating disorder. Recovery shouldn’t be your life; recovery needs to get you back your life.
Maybe I’m just channeling #AnthonyBourdain, but something about being in a foreign country compels me to seek out the grossest items the local cuisine has to offer. Here’s a sampling of the past week: a variety of pâtés and stinky cheeses every day, boudin blanc, boudin noir, tripe and sweetbreads (also known as the gateway drug of organ meats). And here’s another rainbow from our hike the other morning. Many thanks to @elizabethmcentee and Grandpop for keeping Christopher and getting him to all his activities so we could do this
All I do is eat oysters and speak 6 languages in 3 voices.

The Boston Cream Pie, consumed at the storied Omni Parker Hotel where it was allegedly invented. The descendant of other old-timey pies such as the American Pudding-Cake Pie and the Washington Pie, it’s the official dessert of the state of Massachusetts. Never has a confection made me feel so...pie-triotic. 🤓 #wakawaka

A new mural honoring the late Anthony Bourdain has appeared on Delancey Street. The artist is NYC-based @bradleytheodore, who said of his completed work: “In a city full of villains, we all need heroes.” Thank you, Bradley! 📷 @chanibus
Love this old town.💕 2nd time here after 4 years and still so charming.

🍴reco: Banh Mi Phuong (Apologies to my fellow keto friends *ahem* @allan_song but that French bread was irresistible 🤤).
Recommended by the one & only #anthonybourdain 🙏🏻. Thanks as always!
Good ☕️: Hoi’An Roastery (cute scenic little cafe❣️) Also side note, ive been to #morninggloryhoian restaurant and it’s so overrated. Not sure if it’s the fame and popularity that got to their head but it clearly lacked the quality of the food and service. #disappointed#dontmesswithmyfood 🤬
An interview which took place just a few months before his tragic death, shows #AnthonyBourdain was unafraid of calling out the establishment. The celebrity chef, TV personality, and staunch antiwar advocate sat down with Popula’s Maria Bustillos for a hard hitting interview during which he blasted #BillClinton as “Rapey,” and noted how Hillary helped him get away with it.
During the interview, Bourdain was asked whether or not he thought Bill Clinton should have been removed from office after the #MonicaLewinsky scandal. Bourdain said that despite Clinton being “A piece of shit,” who was “Entitled, rapey, gropey, grabby, disgusting” should have still kept his job. This was despite “the way that he – and she [referring to #HillaryClinton] destroyed these women and the way that everyone went along” was “screaming in apparent hypocrisy and venality.” Bourdain went on to note how “When you’re in the room, you think wow, she’s [Clinton] really warm and nice and funny.” However, Bourdain explained, “but the way they efficiently dismantled, destroyed, and shamelessly discredited these women for speaking their truth.” Bourdain noted that the sex Clinton had in office was “unforgivable,” but was minor compared to every thing else and he noted that the sex scandal with Monica Lewinsky wasn’t enough to get Clinton thrown out of office.
Bourdain: I don’t think he should’ve been thrown out of office for this.
Bustillos: Why not? We want people who are of excellent character to be in that office.
Bourdain: I think you recognize people for what they are, and you determine for yourself, I’m not voting for that motherfucker ever again! Or anybody who enabled him, you know? This product, okay, I voted for it, it’s in. Is this grounds for pulling someone out of office? I don’t think so.
Bustillos: What if we did have those kind of standards? We want a person who is like, honorable.
Bourdain: I would look at this way. I would never under any circumstances vote for Bill Clinton today. But I think impeaching the guy over Lewinsky was ridiculous. Particularly given today... 🖐🏾More in comments👇🏾 #LolitaExpress
This is one of the shows that I #bingewatch on #netflix,
#themindofachef narrated by #anthonybourdain.
I love this show and I also love how Anthony Bourdain (in his other shows) introduced / educated the world about most Filipino foods like "Sisig" and the biggest Filipono food chain "Jollibee". Such a great loss and I can't imagine the devastation of the people who knew him. I guess I will never understand how or why someone, will ever hurt himself. I pray he find his peace. #ripanthonybourdain

This truly breaks my heart. Especially, being in New York right now. My favorite person to binge watch docu series on travel and food with his raw “I don’t give a fuck” personality! Rest In Peace. #anthonybourdain
The late Anthony Bourdain loved the Sarawak Laksa at Choon Hui Kopitiam so much he featured it twice on his food TV shows.
He visited Choon Hui (on Jalan Ban Hock) for the first time in 2005 to film for Travel Channel’s “No Reservations” and again in May 2015 for CNN’s “Parts Unknown”.
For the 2nd time round, Bourdain bought Sarawak Laksa for everyone and he himself had 2 bowls. He posted a photo of his Sarawak Laksa on Facebook and Instagram (2m+ followers) with just the word “Yessssssss”.... #laksa#kuching.
Sadly Myap Chin’s family who owned this famous business have sold but the new owners are still maintaining the high standards set.
