Super important to keep your elbows tucked during dumbbell bench and bench press in general .
Flaring your arms out is a sure way to eventually injure yourself and be out of the gym for an extended period of time 🚫
Goal right now is to work my way up to the 140’s

Weight loss and fitness has always been such a roller coaster for me, and body confidence has always been a big issue for as long as I can remember. I have always been that person who can never stick to a diet or fitness routine, and then get annoyed when I can’t see a difference. However the past year I have really gotten into fitness and educating myself on food. I still fail and make mistakes, but I have grown so much more and it’s made such a big change in my life.
Now I know my ‘before’ photo is the shittest thing ever, but that’s what happens when you hate your body and never keep photos when you look terrible. I was happy enough to find this photo, so it’s the best I can compare with. Some people might not see a big difference or complain about the quality of the ‘before’ photo, but the overall results make me feel like I have accomplished something. I am starting to feel better in my own body and it’s a damn good feeling.
I have been using the @gracefituk@gracefitguide#GFG guide a lot, and it has honestly helped me transform my body. I have used it for changing up my booty workouts when I am stuck & it has been so helpful!
I’m not even close to being where I want to be with my body, but I am so happy with the progress that I have currently accomplished. This is a lifestyle.

Took this picture this morning before my chest workout. Started this new diet trying to lean out and cut some weight... instead I'm up 5lbs, gained a bunch of strength but did manage to lean out. I guess it all worked out 🤷♂️.

- Arch height varies
- Your ability to control your arch is what matters most
↪️ You can work on this, and it is in your control
Many people confuse natural/genetic arch height with having ‘flat feet’
👣 Flat feet = an inability to CONTROL pronation, which is primarily the responsibility of the joints/musculature upstream of the feet (HIPS being the major players)
➖ Just because you have a LOW arch, doesn’t mean you have ‘flat feet’. You can have a low arch and have strong feet which you can control well
➖ Just because you have a higher arch doesn’t mean you don’t have ‘flat feet’ (or uncontrolled feet). You can have higher arches but poor strength and ability to control these arches
✅ It’s all about how you control your joints (and your body). Lack of control at the hips is usually the main culprit, having a domino effect downstream. The feet are good indicators of what is happening (or not happening) above them
➡️ Is it purely a stability control problem ❓
↪️ Mobility issues are also commonly present (at the ankles and hips primarily), which contribute to this lack of control. However this can be changed and worked on too!
✔️ The good news is that ‘flat feet’ can be worked on and changed over time. Working on MOBILITY, CONTROL, and STRENGTH is the key
