Happy Flex Friday babes! Today after work my brother and I went and explored one of the 10,000 lakes that the state of Minnesota has to offer. We ran about 20 mins and hiked the rest. Honestly was the perfect afternoon full of laughter and beautiful views that we finished with smoothies when we got home. Also this summer I decided I’ll no longer be hot and care how I look in shorts. I may have loose skin and cellulite but that don’t bother me anymore. I’m much more confident then I was 14 months ago. I will never let my insecurities or others prevent me from wearing something. Who wants to wear pants while it’s 85+ degrees not this girl not no more. I worked way to hard to be covered up or hide my legs. This is my body and I’m dam proud of it and you should be proud of your body as well. It’s so easy to let our insecurities run our life but no more enough is enough. This is the summer I’ll enjoy one short at a time. Cannot wait to go jean short shopping because only jean shorts I have are in a size 28. I’m mainly size 18 except in Maurices I fit into size 16 shorts. But let this be the summer you don’t let insecurities or others stop you from wearing that bikini, dress or even shorts. Just do you babes and be proud of your hard work. Change doesn’t happen overnight. But you should be proud of yourself for taking that first step into a happier and healthier lifestyle. I just wanted to say thank you for all your love and support. I read messages and tear up because how encouraging you all are. Even on my tough days I know I can turn to TIU community that continues to be my light. Also the messages that say I’m the reason you started your own journey or posted your before pictures make this journey that much more rewarding for me. I love when you share my recipe creations or your own ideas using similar ingredients I did. All I want to do is give you all hugs and let you know how truly capable and strong you are. You got this babes and I’m so proud of you. Here’s to crushing our goals and kicking those obstacles to the curb. Remember ladies you are beautiful, you are capable, you are worth it and YOU GOT THIS! You deserve happiness but most of all you deserve this.

Backwards walk ups x AMRAP (I only was able to do 4, and by the last set (this video) my form was definitely suffering. Working to be able to do 10 again! Oh, and the somersault at the end was just for fun 😁)

I first met Trevor working in the special education room my senior year of high school and he was in 1st grade. I got to see him for the first time in 5 years last week and he is now in sixth grade and is on the honor roll!! His mom told me whenever people bring up my name he yells Jacob and talks about our memories in first grade. I share this because I just want to remind you that you guys have the opportunity to have an impact every single day of your life.

The workout I did today was a ton of reps!
It took me about 45-60 minutes to complete.
Rest times were shorter for me today!
But the burn was so intense.

There is a pretty solid chance I've called one of these workouts the wrong name, just Google it if it sounds weird.
Adivce: Lift heavy. Make it burn. Bring the intensity.
Okay... HERE. WE. GO.
15 - upright row w/ Smith machine - SLOW! SQUEEZE at the top.
Max reps - plate push press.
10-12 - standing front shoulder press w/ ez bar.
15 - DB seated reverse fly.
40/30/20/10/drop set - DB lateral raise.
Light weight ➡️ FXCKING HEAVY.
Make the dropset burn!! 4 sets:
10-12 - cable front raise.
10-12 - cable upright rows.
15-20 - cable tricep pushdown.
15-20 - cable rope facepull

People ask me all the time how to manage their diet and adhere to a plan while on vacation... Well that's it, it's vacation. If you work your ass off 358 days out of the year, it's okay to take a break for 7 days. We can't be 100% on, 100% of the time... That's just not ideal and it's no way to live. Enjoy and reward yourself for all of your hard work. Now, does that mean its okay to eat like a total asshole for 7 days? Not necessarily, but I sure am 😆 Halfway kidding.. I had eggs for breakfast but it's no secret that I'm a sucker for those little chocolates and finger snackies 🤭
