Being a full time parent or carer can be exhausting at the best of times, you don’t have to be perfect and on top of everything, it’s ok to not make the bed, or not do the washing up. It’s ok to not be arsed to hoover or to do the housework. Sometimes you just have to take a step back and look at what is important, things like playing with your child or reading them a book, ignoring that phone cal so you can listen to your child’s story for 100000000 time 😂 they will only be so little for so long 🙏🏻 make the most of it because one day they won’t want to play with you and that’s the day you’ll realise that the little things were the important things ♥️💋🌈🙏🏻✨🙌🏻 #findthetime#theyrenotlittleforlong#givethemtheworld#showthemloveeveryday

They saw a dumpster and wanted to know what was in it. Always so curious...and I hope they stay that way. .
I hope that curiosity drives them to learn and travel and try new things.
And it is my job to help them. .
That is why I started coaching. To show them the world. To let them try knew things like soccer, baseball, tumbling, instruments (and pay for it all without worry). To feed their interests and see where they end up.

So many people make being a parent a race to see who’s kid does what first from walking, talking to potty training we out so much pressure on them to grow up and be a big girl or boy. We don’t ever stop to think about the impact of our behaviour on them. Yes it’s amazing to see the walk for the first time or hear them say mumma or dada, but in today’s society our kids will spend 90% of their time at school and then at work. Cherish the time that they are little and just enjoy them as tiny humans, don’t try and make them be a teenager when they’re just a toddler, they need to learn & grow at their own pace and they will blossom into amazing people as and when they’re ready 👼🏼✨🙌🏻🌈 #letthembelittle#letthemgrow#lovethemsomuch#givethemtheworld#showthemyoulovethem
#backtohomeschool2018 Day 8: Map 🗺 Globe 🌎 We have these two maps in our hallway. We subscribed to @littlepassports - we finished the series around the world and are about half way through the US states. It’s such a fun and easy way for us to incorporate geography into our school day.
Someone asked me....what inspires you? Simple. These two. This little family of 3 endured a lot 3 years ago and these ladies have shown strength, grace and love every day since then. Our past has made them pretty tough little girls with really big hearts! They deserve the moon and I'll do anything and everything I can to lasso it for them!

These two 💙💙. This is why I do what I do day in and day out.
Each day is a new challenge, and each day I am prepared for a new adventure. I work hard to give these two everything. 💙💙
Every day I show up, get my mom act together, and try to be the best I can for them. 💙💙
I will grow them into men, I will show them the world, I will teach them everything I can. 💙💙
Taking it back old school 👨🏫 Stan, Bax, Lans and Dyl all went to the same school together. The realisation of the hardship these kids face really hit home here. Black boards, dusty tables and bare stationary.... Far away from the 3D printers and projectors in modern schools these days... 💚🇬🇲

We visited one of the local schools in the Banjul district to learn some harsh truths about education in Gambia. Head Master Samuel explains - ‘The children thrive on the chance to learn and be taught, but poverty restricts them this chance’ 🇬🇲💚
To give relentlessly is to gain the entire world. Among the finest things I’ve done is giving them moments like these.

Do you know the story of how we started Penguino Travel?
I fell in love with adventure more than twenty years ago on a class trip to Costa Rica. I hiked through the cloud forest, shopped at local markets, played in the waves – and came home with a serious case of #wanderlust. Since then I have traveled to over 35 countries! As a parent, I want to share my love of travel with my kids.
But let's be real. Travel with kids is not always easy!
The inspiration for Penguino was a moment where I wanted to do anything but get on a plane with my four kids! Two years ago, we were headed to Mexico on vacation. I finished everything on my to-do list – cleaning, shopping, packing – with no time to spare. I needed a vacation from my vacation and we hadn't even left the house. We made it to Mexico.
And that night as we watched the sunset in Tulum, we talked about why we love to travel with our kids. It’s not just to relax, have fun or connect as a family. We travel with our kids because we want them to grow up with an awareness of people and places around the world.
As we watched dolphins in the Caribbean Sea, ate ceviche on the beach, and explored local markets, we began to dream up ways to make travel easier for families who share this passion.
A few months later, I launched Penguino Travel to make it fun and easy for families to explore the world together. That's our why!
When you have a little princess 👑 living under your roof, you want to give her the world 🌎
Tonight we headed off to ballet and I feel like things just started coming full circle for me.... If I’m being very honest, years ago before we ever kids, I had anxiety about whether or not I’d be able to provide them as special of a childhood as my parents did for me.
While unconditional love 💗 is the first and foremost thing a child needs, giving them the opportunity to participate in special activities was something I always appreciated growing up and i think it helped shape me into the person i am today, so I hoped to be able to do the same for my kids.
Veterinary technicians 🐾 aren’t particularly known for their income 💵 , and while I love my job and it gives me great security, I always wondered how much would actually be left over to give my kids as they grew.
Now, I dont have to think about it so much, because in my spare time I’m building a thriving business that focuses on not only positively impacting others, but one that is impacting my family in such special ways as well.
And guess what?! I dont have any previous knowledge in this business. I was taught everything I needed to know to become successful from my amazing team, just like I would train YOU. All you need to bring to the table is hard work and dedication, and I can show you how to become unstoppable too.
So my little girl wants to do ballet? You better believe I’m signing her up. 💗And maybe one day Grahm will want to play t-ball. ⚾️ Family vacations? Yes please! 🌴And that college fund? Yep, it’s growing too. 💰 Guys, you really can make this work- but first you have to just BELIEVE. (You know i gotta tell you: Beachbody does not guarantee any level of success or income from the Team Beachbody Coach opportunity. Each coach’s income depends on his or her own efforts, diligence and skill.) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you’re ready to fly with me and take your family along for the ride too, [email protected] this quick application: 👇🏼 #momoftwo#dancemom#familyoffour#girlmom#ballet#balletshoes#mermaid#seahorse#indianapolis#givethemtheworld#princess#studiob
Hanging out on the porch tonight. Little moments like this are awesome. I can’t #givethemtheworld but I did give them a #placetocallourown and it’s an pretty amazing! Nature is our backyard, we got a deck and a pool! Doesn’t get much better than that! Been here 2 months and still in love with my cute little apt and of course having my two kids here happy as can be!
This moment today with my girl was just wonderful. In fact, I actually cried tears of joy. Tears of utter gratitude. Tears of pride. I haven’t had much time alone with this girl in over one year. In fact, I’ve had less than one hour alone with her in that entire time. Today I took her to the beach for half an hour, just me and her because she wanted to go and fly her kite (“Let’s Go Fly a Kite” is her all-time favourite song). It was magical. I looked on at her independently flying this kite and I saw a girl who has grown into a big sister, who is so patient with her younger sister’s 24/7 need for her mum. She shares me so well, she is so giving to her sister and she is so understanding and so loving. I looked on at this girl flying her kite, I looked around and realised the entire beach was ours. I realised that we were not bound by any time limit, nor by any place we had to be. And suddenly it hit me right there how utterly lucky we are. We have managed to free ourselves into a world which is limitless. We are not bound by nursery and will not be bound by the rules and regulations of school. We can go to the beach whenever we choose, we can breathe in the sea air, we can feel the sand between our toes and we can grow at our own pace. I am so privileged, so lucky, so utterly grateful that I can give this life to them. Unconditional love, health, freedom and time are the greatest gifts. They have the whole world to grow into and they have all the time in the world in which to grow 🌍 (once we had finished flying the kite she asked to go back to see her sister because she ‘missed her’ 💝) #homeschool#homeschooling#homeeducation#montessorilife#montessorihomeschool#followthechild#childledlearning#givethemtheworld#lifewithoutlimits#lifewithoutschool#slowparenting#slowchildhood#slowliving#abeautifulchildhood#wildandfreechildren
