Joel Sherlock of Sherlock + Associates (you might remember him from #BiggerPocketsPodcast episode 214) has done some pretty incredible flips. We’re tempted to share more as we can’t stop swooning over this sleek entry design 😍
When a little corner of a freshly painted room makes you giddy. This room started as a poooooorly painted bright yellow nightmare and is now a dreamy quartzy taupe. More pictures to come of the guest room even as it’s a work in progress.
You wanna know what living life to the fullest actually is? It’s waking up on a Monday morning with no complaints. It’s knowing you always deserve to laugh. It’s doing what feels right no matter what. It’s doing what you want to, no matter how stupid you look. It’s about being yourself, ‘cause no one can tell you you’re doing it wrong. 💭

One of the questions we get sometimes is “Does Delton Cabinets have Nextgen cabinets?” Yes, we do! Nexgen is a new polymer laminate which has been advertised as “Better than Wood”. Nexgen is more heat resistant, scratch resistant and colour-fast than vinyl doors. Nexgen cabinet doors are more durable, less expensive, more stable and more visually consistent than wood doors.

My drywaller has been doing his thing for a long time, and he has found money in walls on two separate occasions. $1 Million once and $500K another.
In both cases, he alerted the home owner. For the $1M, the homeowner came and got it and apparently didn’t share any of it.
The $500K was apparently drug money, and the homeowner got very scared and turned the money into police. She was worried someone would come looking for it if she kept it 🤔...
Needless to say, I have a pretty honest drywaller.
What would you do if you were the contractor and you found all that money? What is the craziest thing you’ve ever found in a house?

Wondering what the hell this is? Clearly, it's my gorgeous sketch of the fireplace that my handyman is making for me. Thank goodness he is 1000 times more talented than my drawing skills. We shall see how closely the work he magically spits out aligns with my pencil masterpiece. #homereno#keepingmydayjob
So noticed the A/C was not working this morning, but only now was able to look into it. Was completely confused as it did not map to the units I had seen in my previous condo.
Quick google search flagged the sensor in my head. The tube was not level, my assumption is that since it could not drain it turned the system off. Almost as soon as returning it to level the A/C turned on.

He wouldn’t stop making silly faces and gestures so I have no choice but to post this! 😁
We use the garage for a sitting area, shelter from the heat, storage, etc. It’s way more functional than the house right now 😀

Design is the search for a magical balance between business and art; art and craft; intuition and reason; concept and detail; playfulness and formality; client and designer; designer and printer; and printer and public. — VALERIE PETTIS
