  • “Re-Imagining the Wool Road” | This light-painted image was recently taken at Worrowing, courtesy of photographer Peter Solness - one of our Artist's in Residence for 2018. Come and see Peter and a team of light spinners for the ‘See of Light’ SeeChange Arts Festival opening this Saturday at Moona Moona Creek, Huskisson 4-6pm. See of Light will officially launch SeeChange 2018 and brings alive the festival theme Shared Pathways, highlighting our unique ancient pathways in the spectacular natural environment. This image “Re-Imagining the Wool Road” envisions the historical and cultural significance of The Wool Road - a road which runs from Nerriiga to Jervis Bay. A pathway of historical and cultural significance, the Wool Road was built in 1841 to cart wool from the farming areas around Goulburn to the coast for shipping to market. It was also a significant pathway for Indigenous Australians. The yellow wheels in this image represent the mechanical process of carting wool down the escarpment, whilst the wave-like trail unifies the elements and is suggestive of the unbroken dreaming tracks created by the Indigenous people of the area.

  • A U S S I E 💙 Sometimes I get so caught up in the daily that I forget that I’m living in this beautiful country. This country that has clear blue water, like I have only seen in Fiji so far, white sand (that makes noises when you walk on it), dolphins swimming close to the shore, kangaroos that are as tall as humans, birds that make sounds like crying babies and so so much more!! This country is an adventure and it’s a privilege to live here! Thank you Abba! #aussie #australia #hyamsbeach #adventure #nevertakeitforgranted #thankyouabba #grateful

  • i’m still obsessed with this place that we went to when on tour and our only regret was that we didn’t stay longer. One of the best things about living in a van is all the amazing places you find along the way and with pure white sand and clear blue water how could you not?? #livingmybestlife
