On the West Fork of the Little Colorado ........ this wilderness is my oxygen. Already the river plant life is starting to take on pre autumn color. The nights are cooling off in the high country and even though Fall is just a month away the forest here is showing signs. The Arizona White Mountains tends to start earlier than anywhere else in Arizona...... ~Note to self~ Chasing Red series kicks off one month from now and this is a great spot to start. #azwhitemountains#westforklittlecolorado#findyourterritory#baldywilderness#apachecounty 🎒🍂🌿🍃🐟

The Salt River Snorkel, as performed by one of the wild horses.
The wild horses love the eelgrass that grows in the Salt River, and will dunk under the water to grab the grass as it sways in the current. I’m always amazed by the depth some horses are willing to dunk their heads for this treat.

Much of the rest of the world has already learned some English. They pretty much understand the American way of doing things, because our culture has been ubiquitous and has been the 500-pound gorilla in the global economy. But the world is far more interrelated than ever before, and no one culture can thrive without the knowledge of how to function in other cultures. (Quote by - Dean Foster)
