There was an article in an Icelandic newspaper last week about how you can look good in a bikini.
The article said the following:
1.A sunhat looks very good with a bikini.
2.You should not eat any salty foods, beans or broccoli 3 days before the “bikinishow”
3. It matters how you sit in a bikini. Sitting down and pulling your knees up is very pretty. That way lifts up the fat on your hips.
4. Its good to buiry yourself a little bit in the sand to hide the fat on your butt and hips.
I think I NAILED it!!

Became a plus size Swimwear model at 52!😁👙 When my friend Kaz asked me if I could do some photos for her new store Pualani Hawaii Beachwear on Monsaratt, I said sure thinking that they could photoshop me into top shape. For 25 years I have been behind the camera working in tv and mag production and it was so different learning to be in front. Then the other day I open my mailbox and I get a full blown shock. I feel like I have been trying to hide certain ‘areas’...now finally there is a feeling acceptance and just appreciation for a functioning body. Being in the ocean and surfing is my peace. Wearing these bikinis designed by Iwalani Isbell in my single days...through 2 pregnancies... and now into my 50’s they have given me the constant confidence in and around the water to feel the best I can be at that point in life. The Ocean is Hawaii’s best healing and rejuvination source...jump in a Pualani ladies (see the difference for yourself when you get a proper fitting) it’s never to late to return to the water of life. .
Today was awesome and I’m totally stoked. I placed 12th overall in the 16 mile double downwinder, and I achieved my goal! That might seem strange, that I achieved my goal while placing 12th, but my final placement wasn’t my goal. My goal was to push hard and “enjoy it”, and thank God, I did! I’ve done this race so many times, I’ve even won it a few, and there were so many incredible women out there today, it just makes me feel so honored and grateful to be a part of it. Ask me if I would have been truly happy with 12th place a few years ago, I would have told you “No way, I HAVE to win”, but I’m a different woman today. Thank God for that. It feels so good to go into a race enjoying the process, push hard, and just let it happen. It’s so cool to see so many driven women in our sport, working so hard to achieve their dreams. I’m so proud to see where all the women are taking our sport. Seriously cool stuff! A dream come true really. Something else cool happened on the water today. I was racing with my worship music on, to inspire me, and help me stay focused on my race and catching bumps. For a moment I got caught up in looking around at my competitors and what they were doing, the bumps they were catching, etc. In that moment the Lord told me (in my heart) “When you focus on the opportunities I’m providing for them, you miss out on the opportunities I’m trying to bless you with.” WOW. In this instance the “opportunities” were the bumps/glides, but this is so true in so many other areas of life. I’m so grateful for today. For where I am, and the support I have from @infinity_sup and my other great sponsors. For the blessings I get to experience and the lessons I get to learn. Congrats to everyone who completed today and a big WELL DONE to @fiona_wylde for putting on another clinic. #grateful#cando#allthings#injesusnameiplay#romans828#infinityspeedfreaks@qbpaddles@nagini_brand@pualanihawaii@virusintl@nowfoodsofficial@coola@officialmauijim#qbpaddles#pualanihawaii#ppsup#nowambassador#naginibrand#kmmfamily@gorgepaddlechallenge@appworldtour
