Thank you to everyone who let me know whether you prefer lineups or flatlays for routine posts! 💕 A large majority of you said flatlays so I’m back with another one for my PM routine. In the interest of keeping this post short, I will only say two things: 1️⃣ Farmacy Green Clean and Purity cleanser (used on my Clarisonic) have been leaving me with the softest skin of my life after cleansing and I am obsessed! 🙌🏽😍 and 2️⃣ I alternate between using Herbivore Moon Fruit OR Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos mixed with Lancome Advanced Genefique Youth Activating Concentrate (never both acid-based products in the same routine 🙅🏻♀️). If you have any questions on the products, feel free to drop it in the comments or my DMs are always open 😁 Happy Friday babes! 🎉

I have been testing out the @blissworld cleansing sticks* for about a week now and thought it would be fun to share some of my thoughts! I had never really used a cleansing stick before so I was curious as to how these products would hold up to my normal cleanser. I decided to look for to main factors for each, 1. Did it remove my makeup well enough and 2. Did my skin feel clean but not stripped after use
✨ first up the Oh My Gommage! Cleansing stick. This is described as a milky cleansing stick that resurfaces and refines with soft plant based fibers. I like that this one was oil based and had general exfoliation. It removed my face makeup very well but had some trouble with my eye makeup. After use my skin immediately felt softer and didn’t feel dry at all. I didn’t have any irritation to the exfoliation which was a huge plus for me! Over all I really enjoyed this one I’m not sure I would use it as a first cleanse at nigh but I could definitely see my self using this in the mornings or on no makeup days.
✨ next up is the Cold Pressed cleansing stick. This stick is made up of 40% olive oil to provide a gentle cleanse. It also is supposed to melt away makeup and residue. This one did the best job at removing my makeup and I could definitely see myself using it as a first cleanse. It left my skin feeling super soft and hydrated after use and again I had no irritation. I think this is the one I will get the most use out of since it did a really nice job of removing my makeup
✨ and lastly the No Dull Days cleansing stick. This is described as a balmy stick that absorbs skin dulling toxins, oil and makeup. It is also formulated with charcoal. I found myself not loving the texture of this one and found it hard to work into the skin. I felt that it did a decent job removing my face makeup but I didn’t try it around my eyes. After use my skin felt nice, clean and clear but it did feel a tad tight / dry. I can definitely see myself using this one every once in a while when I really need a deep clean.
Over all I actually really enjoyed all three of these products! I can’t wait to see what other amazing products @blissworld comes out with! *gifted
Have you heard of Defenage? If you want glowing youthful skin then you need to try their skincare line. I’ve been using their Clinical Power Trio for 4 weeks now and my skin glows even more.
I had hormonal dark spots on my face before but now I can see them slowly fading away. I’m trying not to sound too technical here but basically @defenageskincare is infused with potent peptides called defensins, which were discovered through stem cell research for wound healing and diabetes. To put it simply, the peptides act as ‘communicators’ between cells, and one type of defensin seem to speak directly to adult stem cells to instruct them to regenerate themselves.
I put all my skincare products on hold and tried this regimen for four weeks straight: 2-Minute Reveal Masque one-to-two times a week plus 24/7 Barrier Repair Cream and 8-in-1 BioSerum twice daily. just a couple weeks aftering using this powerful trio I noticed an overall improvement in skin evenness where my pores are smaller and the wrinkles around my eyes and on my forehead are minimized. My jawline was more contoured and felt firmer and the crease lines are not as deep.
This skincare by far is the most simple and efficient process. My favorite is the 8-in-1 BioSerum. I feel like my skin is absorbing 8 separate serums at once with only one application.
I highly recommend this if you have not tried it because you will notice a huge difference with your skin. I have extremely hyper sensitive skin and this did not irritate one bit!

The Missha Cho Gong Jin set is one of those miniature sets that I bought just because. I liked the packaging.
This set consists of toner, emulsion, lotion and cream. It doesn't seem to be a popular line of Missha to non-koreans because it caters to mature skin -- it contains niacinamide among various anti-aging korean ingredients.
I started using this set about a week ago. First night of use I already liked the products as it made my skin glowy but less oily the morning after. Upon application though, my skin felt sticky and looked too packed up with hydration -- the thing that I don't like about most korean products, they seem to make my skin appear more oily. It's that "glass skin" effect I guess. Good thing I got good results in the mornings otherwise I would have stopped using these at first try.
I have been using this set for just a week so I cannot pinpoint a noticeable anti-aging effect just yet. I can say it does not clog my pores nor break my skin out and it makes my skin appear glowy bright in the morning, a subtle glass skin effect, just perfect for me to wake up to. .
Haven't seen any noticeable fading of acne scars though just yet. One of these weeks maybe?

Monochrome vibes for today. I was so excited to find @thetonik at @freepeople this week. I picked up their Apple Cider Vinegar capsules because who really likes taking ACV shots? Can’t wait to check out the rest of their line! I’ve also been using this hydrating cleanser by @redearth_beauty. It’s so lightweight and moisturizing with such a refreshing scent. Use code XOannieweiss to get 15% off your Red Earth purchase.
GABRIELLE by CHANEL is the newest purchase (albeit months ago) to my perfume collection and has quickly become a favorite goto. The overall description I can give is clean, super clean. Fresh florals and a hint of vanilla, which I usually don’t like so it’s definitely not prominent. As the day goes on I pick up peachy apricot on the dry down and that’s the most prominent final scent. Key note descriptions are: Jasmine, Orange Blossom, Grasse Tuberose, Ylang-Ylang. But honestly from that list I only pick up Tuberose, so this combination is different from the usual key notes as singles.
Staying power is WOW, like all CHANEL perfumes and that’s when on skin or clothes. This is a safe fragrance and I would be surprised if someone, especially a floral fan, didn’t love this. I received a sample of this when I promised myself I was on a perfume buying hiatus. I liked it so much I ordered a deluxe sample and then ultimately bit the bullet and purchased the largest size. No regrets!! #gabriellechanel#chanelperfume#chanelbeauty#chanelgabrielle

Active ingredient is an official term used by the FDA in the U.S. for materials that are classified as either over-the-counter (OTC) or prescription drugs. For products sold in the United States, active ingredients must be called out separately on the primary package with specific labeling requirements known as Drug Facts.
A cosmetic ingredient is intended to affect the appearance or have other aesthetic benefits without altering the function or structure of the body. Materials classified as cosmetic must be listed in the ingredient declaration. Ingredients that are in a formulation at greater than 1 percent must be listed in order of concentration with those at the highest concentrations listed first.
You must’ve heard “Day cream” and “Night cream” terms for all beauty brands out there. Have u ever thought about the difference between them? 😇 💁🏻♀️ during the day skin is in danger with UV rays, pollution , stress, and makeup. So “Day creams” are focused on protection and support. They contain SPF to prevent burning and photo aging, antioxidants to fight free radicals and ingredients like caffeine to make skin look energized. Plus Day creams are made to be worn under cosmetics so they have light, non greasy formulas to absorb quickly and allow pores to breathe.
Nighttime on the other hand is when skin does it’s heavy lifting . like the rest of the body, skin does most of it’s repairing and rejuvenating while we sleep. So night creams are focused on moisture and recovery. Since there’s no concern about sun exposure, they contain the highest concentration of anti aging ingredients like Retinol, Glycolic Acid and Hyaluronic Acid and they’re able to do their work without interference from Sunscreen. The result is that “Night creams” are richer, thicker ir heavier than “Day creams “. Love you all❤️🤗😍😇 hope this was helpful. REVIEW on @thursdayplantationus tea tree oil
My honest thoughts on this HOLY GRAIL:D!!
I brought this at Guardian or Watson for $23?? Which is pretty pricey for a 25ml bottle but it does last me forever!!
WHAT IS THIS??
It’s Distilled from melaleuca alternifolia leaves, 100% PURE! It’s a powerful antiseptic which inhibits a broad spectrum of bacteria and fungi & cleans & protects skin abrasions!
Well tolerated by healthy skin tissue & doesn’t inhibit normal cell growth
HOW I APPLY THIS:
I only use this at night unless I have really amazingly zit that GTG ASAP HAHAHHA
I drip 2-3 drop on a cotton pad and drip a little water to dilute it and just wipe it all over my face esp the area with spots! My skin is sensitive so if I don’t dilute it my skin would feel like it’s on fire and it’ll turn really red TT
You can also drip a 1-2 drops in your toner or moisturiser!
WELL I don’t think I need to explain this it’s just really strong, pungent, minty smelling & it does lingers overnight!! •
Watery with a yellowish tiny but it’s clear when you apply it on skin
I’ve been having a lot of fungal acne near my hairline & after I apply this I really saw the difference as the fungal acne “retreated” HAHAHA
It does also work on my cystic acne as it helps to shrink the size of it & sometimes speeding up the process of it!!
It does sting a little but it’s bearable I like to fan my face after apply this as it feels really cooling heheh -
IT’ll be nice if they would change the packaging to a dropper kinda style as it’ll would be much easier!!
#1empty1newbie I absolutely enjoyed @zelensskincare Power A. This bottle lasted such a long time! I used it at least 3 nights a week. I found it gentle and effective. If you're interested in trying it I recommend purchasing from @bathandunwind! You can find my review at hashtagbeauty_unpluggedreviewzelens. The newbie is @pestleandmortarcosmetics Superstar Retinol Night Oil. I've heard a lot of wonderful things about this so I'm excited to test it! If you've tried this let me know your thoughts in the comments! 😘

hello everyone!!! i’ve been using my @youthtothepeople superfood mini duo set for awhile now so here’s a review of both!
(the following ingredient list is from youth to the people’s website. you can find the rest of the list there too!)
⭐️ both the superfood cleanser and the the air-whip moisture cream consists of a blend of superfoods, like kale, spinach, and green tea. 🍵 it also has vitamins C, E, & K! the difference with the cream is the hyaluronic acid, which helps retain moisture!
this is a #veganbeautyproduct that’s #parabenfree and #crueltyfree with cold-pressed ingredients, so you know you’re getting the most out of the superfoods. 🌿
🌝 CREAM: as mentioned in my previous review, the cream was lovely, soft, and nice-scented. it felt moisturizing enough AT FIRST, but i could feel my skin needing more moisture within the next half an hour. i think my skin needs something a little stronger!
🌝 CLEANSER: this was just as lovely as the cream- it smelled amazingly fresh and it was easy to apply onto my skin. it also washed off cleanly with no heavy residue at the end. however, i don’t think this cleanser is strong enough to strip away the oil and face products off my skin.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
i’m glad i had a chance to try this brand out after hearing about it for so long! i’m going to finish using the rest of these products (for a mini set, it lasts a LONG time, which is great!!) and see how these products work with the arrival of a new season. 🍁
❓have you used this brand before? how did it go?
have a wonderful saturday, everyone! 😌

I have to start by saying that I’m very bad at remembering to put on a lip product every day. Out of sight, in a decorative cup, out of mind. That being said, the packaging of the @algenist GENIUS Liquid Collagen Lip is enticing enough that I’ve been *better* at remembering. (Still not perfect.)
With claims of restoring skin’s bounce and resilience in ten days, this seems to be a product that is intended to work with consistent application. It features the same collagen, beads of proprietary micro algae oil, and patented Alguronic Acid as their original GENIUS Liquid Collagen for the face. This acid is said to hydrate and visibly reduce lines, which seems to be a perfect concept for lips to appear more “puffy” and full.
It glides on pleasantly and dries down rather quickly with zero stinging sensation (unlike most other lip plumpers, in my experience). Due to the dry-down, I don’t find this to be a stand-alone product for hydrated-feeling lips throughout the day; the brand is aware of this and does state that other products can be worn on top of it.
I definitely want to stick to using this product daily and consistently. Algenist is a brand that intrigues me in general, and I’m currently super interested in their ALIVE prebiotic mask. Have you tried this or any other Algenist products?
ANDALOU NATURALS Pumpkin Honey Glycolic mask!
Contains glycolic acid to exfoliate the skin and get rid of dead skin cells however it is not to harsh on the skin because it also contains manuka honey and vitamin c. So, it leaves you with an even and glowy complexion, would also be good for lightening acne scars! #bblogrt
Have you seen the low PH light?🔦
Once I saw the light and switched to a low PH cleanser there was no turning back for me. My moisture barrier began to heal, my dehydrated skin started to behave, my clogged pores were drastically reduced and acne was now just an occasional visitor on my face.
Figuring out if something is low PH is becoming easier than before because more people are asking for this information and companies and bloggers alike are willing to provide it. But I understand that it is still a confusing world when you are just getting started, so I decided to share three of my favorite low PH cleansers in my latest IGTV video.🎬
⚪Tosowoong Enzyme Powder Wash has been a longtime favorite, especially for travel. This powder is extremely gentle on the face, creating a milky, mild foam when mixed with water.
⚪This cleanser is the perfect PH level of 5.5 (the exact PH level of human skin) and is the perfect cleanser for sensitive skin.
⚪The Enzyme in this comes from papain which is an enzyme found in papaya. This offers a little bit of exfoliation to the skin without any irritation at all!
I've got all the details of my two other favorite cleansers, Cosrx Low PH Good Morning Cleasner and Neogen Real Fresh Green Tea Stick Cleanser in my new IGTV upload.
Are you on board the low PH train?🚂
In collaboration with Korean actor Ha Jung Woo, #jonecosmetic created the Haart ™ Mermaid Glow Lip Balm. The #lipbalm claims to be an ultra-conditioning lip tint that moisturizes, protects, and shifts to a coral or pink tint, adjusting to the color of your lips. It contains oils like sweet almond and starflower seed to hydrate, soothe, and provide antioxidant protection. It's also made without parabens and synthetic fragrances.
I mostly use balms for my lips at night because I favornusing matte lipsticks during the day. However, I've to use these balms during the day because of its light texture and slight sheen. It's also easy to apply as the balm itself has a smooth texture. Even if it looks a bit glossy, it doesn't feel sticky and it doesn't glue itself to the stray strands of my hair (you know what I mean!) I have both the coral and pink variation and even though I alternate using them, I favor the coral tint more as it gives my lips a your lips but healthier look. I was also surprised how much I reach for these balms, especially on days when I rushing to work because it helps make me look I took an effort getting ready. It's more than a plus this these help moisturize and hydrate my lips because I've never experienced chapped lips while using this.

This was me yesterday before leaving for launch group with the #princestrust. I was so nervous because I was expecting it to be like dragons den but it was nothing like that. It was more like a lovely chat with friends 😊
I tried this stuff on a whim when my skin was so dry during my Accutane cycle and it was a game changer! It has a light clean scent and soaks into your skin fast and lasts all day. The hydro boost for extra dry skin quenched my skins thrist without making my skin feel heavy. I still use it morning and night 💕 The price is fantastic comparable to alternative gel moisturizers and I feel it is just as good! 💦💦
Note - I have normal/combination and love this product but I have heard mixed reviews from people with sensitive skin so just be cognizant if that’s your wheelhouse

Happiest of Fridays, friends! Today I’ll talk to you about my #1 favorite mask, ever. I have *dozens* of different masks but this one takes the cake ⚪️ This guy’s main ingredient is, obviously, Umbrian Clay. It’s high in mineral content, and it helps to balance, purify and clarify the complexion ⚪️ It’s also got sandalwood oil has astringent properties and is meant to help calm the skin, and chamomile flower and lavender to soothe ⚪️ I’ll start off by saying that this mask is so unique because it can be used 3 ways: as a mask, obviously, as daily deep cleanser and as a spot treatment ⚪️ This has a very light consistency and a LOVELY fresh, earthy scent to it - it’s seriously heavenly and makes the experience ever more so pleasant ⚪️ It’ll dry pretty quickly and yes, make the skin feel a bit tight and uncomfortable, but it is SO worth it ⚪️ This mask claims to significantly reduce the appearance of pores and mattify the skin without drying out the complexion? ⚪️ Does it deliver? YES. After I wash this guy off my pores are no longer a thing, and I have a clean, smooth complexion ⚪️ Something amazing that I noticed with this mask this morning: I’ve had this really nasty breakout near my chin that I’ve used a couple of pimple patches on already, and now it’s in the process of healing. Within just a few minutes of slathering this mask on, I could see on my face on the problem area, the white gunk that this mask had sucked out of my pimple. We’re talking minutes, whereas pimple patches usually take a couple hours to do this. Seriously magical. This mask is a magnet for all impurities, and I can never ever be without it.
Happy Thursday, lovely friends! Today’s gonna be a quick chat about this @caudalie Moisturizing Mask here. This is my second mini review of one of the mini masks I had gotten from Caudalie’s mini mask trio! 🍃 This mask is made with grape seed oil to nourish and Vinolevure to fortify. It contains no parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, mineral oils, sodium laureth sulfate, or animal ingredients! 🍃 This mask claims to restore moisture levels in order to relieve tightness, reduce redness and increase softness for a hydrated and dewy glow. This is meant to protect the skin’s moisture barrier and is ideal for sensitive skin! 🍃 This guy has a subtle, pleasant smell that is easily detectable as a beloved Caudalie product. It comes out in a white, creamy consistency and doesn’t dry on the face after being on for a good half hour 🍃 After washing this guy off I was disappointed to find no softening effects, which I expected from a moisturizing mask. Sure, my skin was nice and moisturized, hydrated and all that, but the softness of my skin was not increased. I’m not too mad, though, because I noticed a subtle brightening effect on my skin and a *major* glowing effect. My skin looked ✨radiant✨ afterwards. And, I’ll admit, after all is said and done I’d rather have a brightened/glowing complexion rather than softer skin.
What is your favorite Caudalie mask, friends?

It’s Monday, friends! I would say “Happy Monday,” but it’s incredibly gross and rainy here in NYC today, so I don’t feel all that happy 🙃 I thought I’d share this pic today because it’s bright and colorful, and maybe that would elevate my mood, as well as any of you guys’, if you’re also in NYC and forced to endure this disgusting weather?! Or if you’re anywhere with gross weather, for that matter. Or if you just need a bright and colorful pic on your feed! Let’s just dive right in.
@birchbox , you still have yet to disappoint me with these boxes. I chose the curated August box this month. I haven’t tried any of these products yet, but I’m so excited about them, I’ll just tell you guys about them:
💜 @oribe Featherbalm Weightless Styler: this is a hair cream made with Oribe’s Signature Complex, açaí fruit oil, hydrolyzed pea protein, a polymer complex, passion fruit seed oil and rice bran oil, to help smooth hair, protect it against UV and heat damage, untangle knots, add moisture to the hair, etc. So excited for this! 💕 Yesss, another @loveamika product in my @birchbox ! This guy is a cruelty, paraben, sulfate, phthalate-free dry shampoo foam that not only cleans but hydrates a greasy scalp - I never have used a hydrating dry shampoo foam before! It deodorizes with amika’s signature, mouth-watering scent, which we all (I hope) know and love 🤤 💆🏻♀️ The @borghese Advanced Fango Active Mud Mask claims draws out dirt, oils and impurities from deep down inside pores without stripping the skin. It’s supposed to leave the skin looking more refined and feeling softer - I love me a good mud mask, looking forward to this one! 🍑 @doucce Cheek Blush: this powder blush claims to leave a nonstreaky, lightweight feel on the skin, even after multiple layers. 🎨 @birchbox Kabuki Brush: a lil companion for my blush sample! This little guy has super soft bristles and can be used to apply powder highlighter, bronzer, blush, and foundation.
What’s in your Birchbox?!
G’day, mates! Today I’m talking to you about @alyaskinaus ‘s Pink Clay Mask (hence the relevant yet cheesy greeting). I was so lucky enough to win this giveaway prize from @worldofcolorx and @beautybridge , and I’ve finally tried it out!
Here’s what it’s about:
🌸 Alya Skin Pink Clay Mask is made with - Kaolin Pink Clay, which works to remove toxins, pollutants, nasties from the skin, as well as pigmentation clusters from the skin’s surface, and which works to simulate regeneration of skin cells - Aloe Vera + Pomegranate to reduce skin inflammation and help in the removal of eczema and acne - this combo also contains antioxidants, and is supposed to tighten pores and provide smooth skin - Witch Hazel, which provides anti-aging effects and tones the skin, as well as speeds up the healing of pimples - it’s supposed to detoxify the skin from pollutants and keep it fresh and healthy 🌸 What does it smell like? A light, pleasant floral scent that I can’t quite put my finger on! 🌸 What’s going on with the texture? The texture is EVERYTHING, people. It goes on like whipped butter, which is just exactly what I needed this morning. I have yet to come by another clay mask that feels like whipped butter! It is SO pleasant to slather on. What’s great is that it does dry rather quickly, which is good for a day on which you may be rushed but still wanna mask 💁🏻♀️ 🌸 Washing this guy off is not too uncomfortable, and what’s funny is that I was washing my face for longer than I needed to because I wasn’t looking and thought my super smooth, soft skin was the mask! I LOVE a good detoxifying mask that also hydrates 🌸 The verdict? This mask absolutely lived up to all that it claims. Blackheads on my nose? Gone. Pores? Shrunken. Complexion? Bright af. Skin texture? Soft and smooth af. 🌸 I would absolutely repurchase this mask if I didn’t still have so many to get through 😅 🌸 They actually have an amazing sale going on today, you guys! 40% off their products! Last day of the sale!
