Situated on 600 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri @amangiri required an act of congress to be passed to be built atop this red rock country, the last remnant of the truly wild west 🤠The rock changes color from ochre in the morning light, to apricot at midday and dazzling pink at night✨Framing the surrounding dunes, plateaus and mountain ridges, the 34 suites are spacious with clean lines and natural materials, reflecting the luminous qualities of the surrounding Utah desert. With a location cradled by the greatest concentration of national parks in the United States, stunning landscape with traces of life dating back more than 10,000 years, PK chose Amangiri @aman as one of “31 hotels everyone should stay at in their lifetime” as featured in @businessinsider because the location can’t get more dramatic than this! #amanjunkie#amangiri#grandcanyon#utah#unitedstates#businessinsider#bucketlist#topdestinations#besthotel#recap#800daysaroundtheworld

Saw a photo from @nicolepinophotography from this spot and it inspired me to revisit my own photos. Tag a friend that loves Lake Powell! .
Remembering an awesome trip back in my ranger days with @snickwah where we had an epic four wheeling drive, a relaxing afternoon of exploring and scouting, a beautiful sunset, a peaceful night camping under the stars, topped with a crisp sunrise as we headed back to Page the next morning. #coloradoplateau#utahgram#lakepowell#nationalparkgeek#findyourpark
Night Sky over Bryce Canyon || Utah
In honor of #NationalPhotographyDay, I realized I needed to edit at least one photo from my latest photography adventure in Bryce Canyon. It was a new moon, so the conditions were ideal... until the storm rolled in. So instead of getting my shoot in at midnight, I waited until pre-dawn for the clouds to clear. I only got a few good shots before the sun started to rise, but I guess that means I'll have to go back!
